Cancellation and Refund Policy for Services and Goods (including electronic digital content)

Bookings are non-refundable

We are unable to refund for missed sessions or events unless the fault is with Rachel McKenna Mindfulness.

By making payment you agree;
That you have fully read and understood the information around health and safety (below), and will inform Rachel McKenna of any medical issues the participant may have (in particular, issues surrounding mental health, mobility, asthma and/or epilepsy) ahead of the first session

If you are the parent or guardian of a child doing a session, please be present within the same room as your child to ensure the safety and protection of the child and that of the session facilitator

Fees for courses, including the Mindfulness Now Teacher Training course and any workshops/programmes/courses run by Rachel McKenna Mindfulness, whether face-to-face or online, are payable in full and in advance.

If you are unable to attend a course for any reason or wish to withdraw, we request that you give us as much notice as possible, and at least 1 month, so that we can try to fill your place. At the price point we offer, our courses are only viable if we fill all places. We will do what we can to offer you a future course date, which may include offering you an alternative location and/or an alternative delivery format. We do not normally offer a refund other than in exceptional personal circumstances and only where we are able to fill your place on the course.

If you have attended part of a course and/or received the course manual, no refund is possible under any circumstances. Where we provide a refund or part-refund, we will charge you an additional administration fee, currently £25. Any refund we agree is normally paid within 4 weeks of the start date of the relevant course.

Refunds for digital downloads

Any purchases of digital downloads, such as downloadable PDF’s, guides, audio, video or other digital media are non-refundable once they have been downloaded unless the following applies:

The digital content is not:

  • Of satisfactory quality
  • fit for a particular purpose
  • as described by us.

If any of these apply, please contact us at with your details, the reason for the refund request and a copy of the item that you require the refund for and we will process it according to our policy.

Cooling off period for Digital Downloads

Digital downloads are not classed as goods or services under the Consumer Contract Regulations. Therefore, any purchases of digitally downloadable goods cannot be refunded within 14 days unless they have not been downloaded by the consumer. If you download your purchase, you waive your right to the 14-day cooling off period usually associated with the purchase of goods.

Shipping returns

If you have purchased a physical item from us and need to return it, please email and we will advise you on how to return it to us.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
